Palantir-The True Market Leader

As traders, we all want to maximize our time and capital. We want to gain exposure to the names we believe have the biggest potential to move. For me, the stock that exemplifies this is Palantir (PLTR). There are a few reasons why I think this is a stock that has the potential to really rally. First, the fundamentals are quite solid, with many quarters of consistent earnings and sales growth. This makes sense given Palantir’s contracts with the United States Department of Defense.
In addition, PLTR is a fairly new name. After its’ 2020 IPO, PLTR rallied in the first part of 2021 only to then fall into a sharp decline. While it has rallied strongly since 2023, stocks really start to move strongest when they are only a few percentage points off of new highs, as PLTR is now.
The technical action of PLTR are classic signs of institutional accumulation. First, the huge skyscraper accumulation on the weekly charts are not your “Aunt Suzy” buying. In addition, strong relative strength amid market weakness in 2025 is a sign of reluctance to sell. Finally, consistent support at both the 20-day EMA and 50-day moving average are further signs of incredible strength. All of this led me to add to my position in PLTR today.
Risk right. Sit tight.
Full Disclosure: I currently own PLTR.
